Serena Amboseli Safari Lodge is situated in the Southern part of Amboseli National Park. The lodge offers an unforgettable view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
Isolated within acacia trees, the lodge looks out over the vast savannah plains, with wonderful views of the mountain itself. Close to the lodge are green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. This source of water attracts numbers of elephants, hippos, buffaloes and many more different species.
The intense red colours of the lodge and the Masai-inspired architecture create a nice contrast in the middle of the African bush. Many traditional Masai themes, African crafts and artefacts as well as colourful paintings can be found in the lodge. In-between the game drives in the early morning and late afternoon as well as at the end of the day, the lodge invites its guests to relax at the swimming pool with adjoining bar and look back at the spectacular sightings of the day.
The restaurant’s broad veranda overlooks a floodlit waterhole and a saltlick which attract large numbers of animals in the evening. The main bar area is located next to the restaurant.
A boutique and a souvenir shop are also on site, laundry service is available.
Serena Amboseli Safari Lodge offers accommodation in 92 attractively furnished rooms with en-suite bathroom with shower/ WC.
