Mchanga Beach Lodge - Pwani Mchangani

Mchanga Beach Lodge is situated right on the white powder sand beach of the Indian Ocean between the fishing villages of Pwani Mchangani and Matemwe on the undeveloped north-eastern coast of Zanzibar. It takes about one hour to get to Stone Town and to the airport.

This charming boutique hotel is one of the upper middle class properties in Zanzibar and offers a friendly and obliging service.

Mchanga Beach Lodge boasts a cosy bar as well as an open-air restaurant serving traditional Swahili and international dishes. Not only the Indian Ocean invites for swimming and relaxing, but also the pool. Traditional Swahili beach beds and cushions make relaxing easy.

6 Sea View Lodge Rooms and 2 Garden Suites built by natural materials are decorated in an East African style with local handcrafted furniture and accessories. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with shower/ WC, air conditioning and electric ceiling fans and have their own makuti-covered sand terrace.
