We spend 5 wonderful days over Easter 2013 visiting Arusha,River Lodge, Tarangiri tented lodge ,Ngorongo Sapo Lodge and Kirirumu Tented lodge overlooking Lake Manyara.

All very well arranged by Tanzania Experiences, and all the lodges to be recommended, with each one having its own spectaccular view and atmosphere.

Our driver John was first of all a very careful and prudent driver, but besides that he was a fantastic spotter of the animals and beauiful birds. I think we saw all the animals we could dream of except a Tiger of course, but that was not his fault. It was rainy season and very wet and difficult roads to maneuver the jeep through, but John managed it all to perfection. And when danger was apparent he was cool and calm so the big bull elefant decided not to turn our car over.

When due to very bad rain the Lake Manyara Natiobal Park was closed,. John phoned Andy, and quickly they managed to take us to Arusha National Park below Mount Meru instead. This proved to be a very beautiful situated Park with lots of game, flamingoes. monkeys, giraffes buffalos, zebras and antillopes. A Park not on the most frequent tourist route but definitely worse while visiting.
