We had an incredibly great safari at the end of February/beginning of March 2023 with our guide Lazaro. It all started with him always being ready on time and keeping the safari vehicle well maintained. He was also interested in knowing the expectations of his group in order to be able to respond to them in the best possible way, which he did to our great satisfaction.

He always made the transfer times between the national parks and the accommodations worthwhile by sharing interesting insights into Tanzania’s culture, country, and people. His knowledge of the animal world and his incredibly good eyesight are absolutely outstanding.

While maneuvering the safari vehicle safely over hill and dale, he still spotted even the best camouflaged animal from a long distance. Of course, you have to be lucky and be in the right place at the right time, but with Lazaro by your side, your own luck will increase many times over, simply because he is so experienced and knows his way around perfectly. All in all, he is very personable, caring, and skilled.

At this point, however, it must also be emphasised that the overall organisation of the safari with the flow of the days and the accommodations was great. I would book again with Tanzania-Experience at any time!
