With its 20 tents, the mobile camp has a pure bush atmosphere and fits perfectly into the surrounding savannah landscape of the wide plains. No sounds of the fauna nearby will be absorbed because of buildings and everyone can enjoy the liveliness of the African savannah. Comfort and good cuisine will be included and a stay of 2 nights is definitely recommended.
Located in the central Serengeti, Kati Kati Tented Camp is a perfect starting point to observe animals, especially in the months from December to March when the big herds pass the southern part of the Serengeti. Kati Kati Tented Camp is approximately 2 hours away from the Grumeti River in the north and in southern direction it’s a 2 hours drive to Oldupai Gorge. In all directions from Kati Kati Tented Camp, it is possible to explore the Serengeti Plains during game drives.
A comfortable mess tent builds the centre of the camp; fresh regional and international meals are prepared here. At the campfire, everyone can enjoy a sundowner or aperitif. A lounge tent invites guests to sit together after a tasteful dinner.
The tents, with a simple setting, have enough room and have a private veranda. Every tent has its own bathroom with a flushing toilet, running water for the wash basins and a bucket shower with warm water. Power is generated with environment-friendly solar energy.
