As safari guide with Tanzania-Experience, Alphayo enjoys meeting guests from all over the world in his home country. Hosting travellers from different cultural backgrounds gives him the opportunity to get an insight into different ways of life, without having to travel far. He believes, a good guide has not only excellent knowledge of flora and fauna, but should give first time visitors an insight into the culture and traditions of the Tanzanian people. Knowing that you are here to enjoy every second of your safari adventure, he doesn’t mind getting up extra early and is always happy to structure the day around your preferences. Alphayo’s favourite national park is the Serengeti. The seemingly endless savanna reminds him of a vast ocean, dotted with little islands, also known as kopjes.
What our guests say about Alphayo:
“Our greatest highlight however, was our guide – Alpha. We hadn’t expected that a local would speak German so well. We have great respect for him – especially since German isn’t an easy language to learn. He really did tell us a lot about the wildlife. None of our questions was too much, no question was left unanswered. He was incredibly patient, stopping wherever we wanted and giving us all the time we wanted.” Beeke and Kristian from Germany
“Even more compliments go to our guide, Alpha. He was absolutely great. He really made the experience a lot of fun and was very attentive to everything we asked. He was really easy going and had a great sense of humour. He was also very well informed about the parks, the animals and also about the history. This really allowed us to have great conversations with him during our stay.” Elis and Wybe from the Netherlands
