Hi!

Having just said good-bye to our fantastic safari-driver Mike, we would like to provide immediate feed-back on his performance.

We do not have a reference point from Tanzania but have travelled extensively in other countries where we have often been accompanied by a professional guide and another driver. Mike performed exceptionally in both roles.

He is a great driver and we felt perfectly safe all the time. He pointed out always the best photo spots but patiently stopped when we requested this at some (less spectacular) other ones.

Mike is also a perfect tour/safari guide and with his leadership the tour became more than a "big 5" hunt. We learned a lot about the everyday life in Tanzania through his personal experiences. It is needless to say that Mike seemed to know any animal and plant that this great country has.

He was extremely frindly and helpful throughout the tour but respected also our privacy when appropriate.

We don't hesitate to recommend Mike as a driver to any group and send our best regards to him through you once again.

Best regards,

Pekka and Susie Salminen

Message Hi there,

we just got back here after a 2 weeks vacation to the North of Tanzania and Zanzibar.

We and the children enjoyed every minute of this holiday. Our driver guide Mike was very knowledgeable and he has an incredible eye sight. Within four days we spotted three Leopards and plenty of Lions. It was also amazing to witness the great migration in the Serengeti and the gnus giving birth. It made us and the children laugh, when they tried to stand up and stumbled around. The Lodges were very pleasant and children friendly. Especially to watch the sunset from the Ngorongoro Crater was stunning. Tanzania is indeed a very peaceful and magic place.

The last week we spent at a beach resort on the east coast of Zanzibar, with marvelous food and good service.  The island had also various attractions both on the coast & inland to keep our kids happy.
Thanks to all involved to make this trip an unforgettable one,

Family Snyder , P.A

Hello Tanzania Experience Team,

I had a great experience in Tanzania thanks to your organization and all the local staff.

I was warmly welcomed at the airport and although I was travelling just by myself all fears about this new country turned out to be unfounded from the beginning. After undertaking a great briefing the next morning, I had enough time to pack my gear and explore the environment.

From the following day the guide and his fantastic team guided me up the Kilimanjaro in 6 days.

The cook did a great job under these circumstances. And also the crew took care of me and my equipment. The tent was always clean and spacious.

When we reached the summit at 8:25 I was speechless. Taken away by this great view. But now I can say without my guide I would have never made it. Thanks to Saidi and respect to all the porters.

Upon return I had a nice day by the pool and the next day I flew out with many new impressions of a great travel destination and I will be back one day for a Safari to Ngorongoro and Serengeti for sure.

Bye

Melissa

I wanted to thank you for your help and effort during my stay in Tanzania, bicycle trip on the last day was excellent, I saw a lot of girafs, zebras, monkeys, antilops etc...

so I really recomend it if people don't have budget for expensive safari. However, good physical condition is needed :)

Kind regards

Jaromir (happy client :-))

I wanted to let you know that we all had the most amazing safari
experience with your company in Tanzania - August 1 - 5th.
Everything was brilliant! The tents were large and excellent quality.
The vehicle was spacious and we all saw everything from it. The cook was
fantastic and gave us excellent and varied meals cooked under difficult
circimstances.i.e. animals in camp and lack of electricity and light!
Most of all our driver, David John Maro did a most marvellous job of
driving and being a knowledgable and caring guide. He certainly did all
he could to make our safari a very special one and he is to be very
highly commended.

We saw all the animals to be seen -  including a rhino who had escaped
from the Crater!
We also enjoyed the unexpecetd visit to the Masai village on the way to
the Serengeti.

It was all wonderful and we have many fantastic photographs and images
as memories. The children loved every minute!
So very many thanks for all the planning, paper work, organization, the
briefing the night before and the back up vehicle.
It was all truly an amazing experience!

Best wishes

Kathryn, Andrew Stephen, Bethany and Timmy.

Dear Holger, Henning and Achim,

"Seize the Day", we often hear this cliché from the movie but don't know what and how to seize it. Going up Kilimanjaro and opening our eyes to the spectacular safaris make us all seize every minutes during this trip.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for organizing such wonderful trip.

There are endless of people who work behind the scenes; such as porters, waiters; to whom we owe them a big thank.

After all, it is a precious experience to us all. Apart from the beauty
of the landscape or the achievement of Kilimanjaro, it is the people we have met along that touch our souls.

I sincerely hope your business prospers ever more under the principles of kindness to your employees and caring to your clients.

We had an absolutely marvellous time on our trip in Africa. We were very happy and so were the guides and porters with the tips we gave them! They tell me that they never had so much for tips.  I think the guide Batch was exceptional  - and his nephew - shows great potential for the future.

Thankyou and your organisation for making this an enjoyable trip for all of us.

Best wishes,

Mohan

We were looking for a 3 day safari in Northern Tanzania,as part of a total 10 day visit.

Together with daughter Natalie, who turns 14 this year.
We organised our own flights from Zürich to Dar es Salaam and back.

Tanzania Experience organised our inland flights to Kilimanjaro,
pick-up at the airport, transfer to Gibb's Farm Lodge at Ngorongoro, to overnight.
One day trip to the Crater, back to Gibb's Farm.
Next day Lake Manyara and than Arusha ,sleep at the KIA Lodge at Kilimanjaro Airport and on the 4th day flight to Stone Town ,Zanzibar.
We took the challenge to go in the low-season  and as we had been on Zanzibar before this time of the year,we knew it'll only rain occasionally.

It paid off completely!

We arrived on the 20th of April,27 degrees and sun.
We had our own guide named 'Wilson' and our own Landrover for 3 days.
Wilson speaks very good English,Swahili and is working on his German.Knows how to drive, knows everything about the Flora and Fauna, knows the area upside-down and knows how to handle the people.
Gibb's farm is beautiful!!! Best food in Africa and great hospitallity. If you like comfort, peace, nature and tropical excitement after a long journey, this is the place to be. On the slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater in the middle of the rain-forest.
At night we had some scattered rain-showers but that makes the driving the next morning to an adventure. We were almost alone in the Ngorongoro,we saw another 4 Jeeps,imagine...
Sunny, not to hot, all these animals to see and all the time to make lovely pictures.
Next day at lake Manyara the same circumstances.

Later in the afternoon we had to do some shopping in Arusha and Wilson knew exactly where to go.
The KIA lodge at Kilimanjaro Airport is also an insider-tipp. Run by Dutch people, situated at the feet of the Kilimanjaro, in the middle of a tropical garden, clean and friendly people as everywhere in Tanzania.

All together a time we will never forget and we would like to thank Wilson for doing such a great job and advise everybody:Go to see Tanzania in April/May
