9 September 2026The lodge in Katavi National Park was fantastic. Mbali Mbali means “far away” – and that’s exactly what it was: wonderfully remote. Can you imagine? There was only a Swiss couple staying there on my first night, and after that I was completely alone!!!!! I was treated like a queen 🙂. I had the game drives all to myself with the lodge manager, and we saw a lot.

From entering the country (no need to pay the visa fee again), to the transfer, the lodges you booked for me (simply fantastic), and of course the trip itself with its adventurous camping AREAS 👏 and your great guides (Lazaro the driver, Ernest the chef), who took care of us from start to finish.

The accommodations were beautiful, very clean and designed with great attention to detail. The food was also delicious, varied and fresh everywhere we stayed.

2 August 2026There simply aren't enough stars to rate Amaniel—he deserves the entire Milky Way. He was the very best guide and friend we could ever have wished for. He showed us every kind of animal imaginable. From the very first minute, we encountered countless wild animals and learned so much about biology, as well as about plants and the savannah.
