The choice of lodges was perfect for us.
Our guide Albert quickly became our adopted “son”.
He was kind, thoughtful, funny, and careful.
He positioned the vehicle perfectly for us to take photos and see the wildlife as close as possible without us feeling in danger.
Harder to position the vehicle to avoid the dust and “ African massages”!
Albert had a great network of other drivers all working together to give us our optimum experience.
Highly recommend requesting Albert (from Meru) to be your guide.

Every aspect of... read more the trip was better than what we expected, including lodging, food, travel logistics, wildlife, and most notably, our guide, Zablon.

Zablon worked incredibly hard to find wildlife and put us in positions to capture many wonderful photos and videos. From animal behavior to Tanzanian culture, Zablon provided us with volumes of information. We even learned a bit of Swahili. We thoroughly enjoyed his fellowship and can now say we have a friend in Tanzania!

We plan on returning for another African safari someday. One thing is for sure, we’ll be contacting Tanzania Experience and hoping that Zablon is available as a guide.

The handover working perfectly, including surprising my friends by turning up a day early in their camp in the Serengti. Huge thanks to Arno, who organised my booking, and Tanzania Experience’s fantastic driver/guide, Albert, for going along with the surprise and even throwing my friends off by asking them questions about my travel plans. It worked to perfection.
Arno, patiently went through lots of options about how I could link up my travels to that of my friends. Including a separate drop off at the end of my tour. The whole trip with Tanzania Experience was excellent, in large part due to great organisation in advance. Albert was a superb driver and guide for the 3 days I was with him. I know my friends were absolutely delighted with Albert on their 8 day safari trip.
My favourite part of the tour, besides Al ert and the wildlife, was the top-notch accommodation and service at Ngorongoro Lions Paw and the breath taking Ngorongoro Crater!
The safari trip was a fantastic experience! The transfers, accommodation and game drives exceeded expectations!

Our guide Praygod was simply outstanding: friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife, nature, and local culture. He always seemed to know exactly where to go and when – thanks to him we saw countless animals, including the Big Five! His calm manner, great sense of humor, and genuine passion for the bush made the whole experience truly special.

The organization by Tanzania Experience was excellent. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish – from the pickup to the accommodations. The lodges were comfortable, the food was delicious, and we always felt safe and well taken care of.

This safari was an absolute highlight of our trip and an experience we’ll never forget. Asante sana, Praygod and Tanzania Experience – we’ll definitely be back! 🌍🦁🐘

Our guide, Prayz Nkya (Praygod), was outstanding – calm, highly professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about Tanzania’s wildlife and ecosystems. His passion for nature was evident in everything he did, and his sharp instincts led us to some truly unforgettable sightings: leopards, cheetahs with cubs, a lioness with playful cubs, rhinos, large elephant herds, and countless other animals, often far from the crowds.

The vehicle was modern, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering excellent visibility and plenty of space for us as a couple. We felt safe and well looked after at all times.

What made this safari especially memorable was Prayz’s deep understanding of animal behavior, which gave context and meaning to every encounter. He was always attentive to our interests and adapted each day to make the most of every opportunity.

In short: if you’re looking for a professional, personalized, and wildlife-focused safari, we can’t recommend Tanzania Experience highly enough – and especially Prayz as a guide. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime journey.
