Kundaeli Lyimo

Kundaeli is a stalwart of Mt Kilimanjaro and knows the mountain like no other. He has been a mountain guide since 1997 and part of our team since 2011. Growing up only 40 kilometres from Kilimanjaro, the mountain has always been part of his life. When climbing with Kundaeli he will point out his favourite view points along the way and share his knowledge on flora and fauna with you. After summiting Kilimanjaro hundreds of times, he still finds joy in taking climbers to the top and seeing them light up when their dream of summiting the highest mountain in Africa comes true.

Kundaeli has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro more than 200 times.
