  Above and Beyond - We had a wonderful safari with Tanzania Experience. During planning, Arno listened to our goals and created a custom itinerary that was excellent. When we needed to make... read more some minor tweaks because of flight changes, Andrew responded quickly and delivered! But most of all, we loved our guide Bakari. He had a sixth sense for knowing not only where the animals were, but also where they would go next. His hawk like vision didn’t miss a thing! He was so accommodating and friendly. His knowledge of the animals (including the bird species) was vast - he patiently answered all of our questions. Going above and beyond - when he noticed that my 6 foot 5 inch body was a little cramped in the safari vehicle, he pulled over at a roadside service area and had the empty seat in front of me quickly removed. With ample leg room, I felt like I had been upgraded to a first class seat in an airplane! It made a huge difference for me. Thank you so much.

We saw the Big Five and so many other amazing animals, often much closer than we ever imagined. On our last day, we also had some time for shopping and exploring, which was a nice way to finish the trip.

A special mention definitely goes to our guide, Praygod. He was fantastic throughout the entire journey — extremely knowledgeable, patient, and always knew the best places to go. He taught us so much about the animals, the landscapes, and the different national parks, which made the safari even more interesting and special. We always felt that we were in very good hands with him.

We also loved the variety of accommodations. We stayed in beautiful lodges as well as amazing tented lodges, especially in the Serengeti, which made the whole experience feel even more adventurous and allowed us to be so close to nature.
Everything was very well organized, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. Tanzania is an incredible destination, and having such a great guide made the experience even more unforgettable.

We would absolutely recommend Tanzania Experience and especially Praygod as a guide. It was an amazing trip that we will never forget, and we would definitely do it all over again!

A huge thank you to our leaders, Brighton, our head guide, and Ezron, our assistant guide. Both were amazing. They were fun, encouraging, patient, and always attentive to our needs. Thanks to their support and the incredible work of the whole crew, all three of us were able to reach the summit something that definitely would not have been possible without them.

We were equally happy with both of our guides, but we believe it’s worth mentioning that Ezron also deserves the opportunity to lead his own groups. He showed so much responsibility and care for the group throughout the entire climb, and he really engaged with us along the way. We strongly encourage Tanzania Experience to consider promoting him to head guide :))

One thing that really stood out to us was how kind-hearted our crew was. At one point, we witnessed members of another crew not having enough food, and our team shared their own food with them. We found this incredibly generous, but also quite upsetting, as we believe that porters should always have adequate food and proper working conditions!!

For us, this was one of the reasons we were especially happy to have chosen Tanzania Experience. Throughout our climb, we felt that the crew was treated with respect and that their wellbeing mattered, which is an absolute must for us when choosing a company in a field with tough working conditions. Of course, this is based on our personal experience and perception, but it made us feel good about the company we had chosen.

A huge thank you to the entire team for making this such an unforgettable experience! We would absolutely recommend Tanzania Experience to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro.

He was really well versed at providing information in manageable pieces and help teach us so much about the wildlife and natural wonders as we experienced them day after day. We saw so many incredible animal encounters, it was a dream safari adventure! The entire experience from pickup to drop off at the airport is all very well catered. It is wonderful not having to worry about all of the logistics that are needed to pull of a complex travel itinerary like this on our own. He didn’t just answer our questions, he continuously shared fascinating insights about the animals, ecosystems, local culture, and the places we visited, including the Ngorongoro Crater and its unique history and geology. We learned so much throughout the journey.

Ben also had an incredible eye for photography. He consistently found amazing photo opportunities and expertly positioned the vehicle to give us the best possible views and photo angles, getting us as close to the animals as possible while always maintaining a safe and respectful distance for both the wildlife and the guests. Thanks to his experience, we came home with incredible memories and fantastic photos.

Throughout the safari, Ben drove safely, was patient, and spoke excellent English, making communication effortless. What impressed us most was his flexibility, he adapted each day to our interests and priorities, ensuring we had the best possible experience rather than following a fixed routine.
